Dakotah Kutz has built her reputation on one thing above all else: she gets loans closed on time, with a great experience. Her clients describe her as fast to respond, an excellent communicator and the kind of problem solver who finds a way through when things get complicated.
She started in the mortgage business in Greeley and blew past expectations fast. She was told a strong first year would be $10 million in loans. She closed $30 million. That run earned her Rookie of the Year, and later a spot in the Presidents' Club and on Northern Colorado's 30 Under 30 list.
She helped found the Young Professionals of Greeley with the Chamber of Commerce, because connecting people is what she loves most. In her words, her superpower is her ability to lift others up.
Chickens, concerts and two boys.
Outside of work, Dakotah's world is her husband and their two boys, ages 3 and 7. She collects eggs from the backyard chicken coop, hosts backyard hangouts and heads to concerts, country for her and MGK if her son gets a vote.
Being a mom is the reason for the name. Motherhood pushed her to grow, and it is why she explains mortgages the way she would explain them to family: clear, honest and patient.
